A few helpful answers — still unsure? Just ask.
What time should I arrive?
From half past twelve, and please be seated by quarter to one. The ceremony starts at one o'clock sharp.
What is the dress code?
Smart, wedding-guest. Wear whatever makes you feel your best. The wedding Party will be in autumnal colours. Don't forget your dancing shoes!
Can I bring children?
After much pondering, we have decided to keep our special day as an adults only affair.
What about dietary requirements?
Tell us when you RSVP. The kitchen has handled everything from coeliac to serious allergies before and will look after you.
Is there parking?
Yes, on site and free. Please consider car sharing — it is rural Devon and the lanes are narrow and potholed!
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
Please do not. We would love an unplugged ceremony so our photographer can capture it properly. For the rest of the day, photograph everything. We even have QR codes to upload to our shared gallery, a photobooth and photo missions! Keep your eye out for the GoPro that will be making the rounds for a fun home filmed wedding video!
What is the photo thing?
There is a QR code on every table. Scan it, put in your first name, and you get three photo missions. Take the photo, upload it, and it appears on the big screen within seconds. Complete one and another arrives. There is a leaderboard.
Do I have to do the missions?
Not at all. You can upload photos without one, or none at all. But you may feel left out around nine o'clock.
Will my photos be public?
They appear in the gallery on this site, which is unlisted and not indexed by search engines, but not password protected. We can remove anything on request — just ask either of us.
Where should I stay?
The hotel is holding all of its rooms for our guests. Anything not booked is released six weeks before the wedding, so do book early. The Exeter Court Hotel and the Gissons Hotel are both approximately 12 minutes from the venue and can accommodate a number of guests that can taxi share to this location. If this is an option you are exploring and would like to arrange to taxi share, we can help put you in touch with others.
Is there a gift list?
No list. Your company is all we ask for. If you do wish to get something, we are saving for our honeymoon.
